Description

Lovely Fancy Art Deco Pot Metal Rhinestone Crystal Hatpin or Stick Lapel Pin. It is a lovely vintage hatpin elaborately embellished with sparkling rhinestones in a glamorous design. The base finial screws onto the brass shaft to ensure that it won't slip. I'm not sure if it's long enough to be a hat pin. Perhaps it was originally a coat pin or easily could be used as a scarf brooch. In any case, the craftsmanship is well constructed - totally vintage, very feminine, impressive size and simply a wonderful example of period ladies accessories. The pictures do not use this pin justice - far more lovely. The pin is in outstanding condition. All original - no dings, no repairs. No hallmarks - content unknown. This is a piece from estate collection. It will make a wonderful addition to a collection of vintage vanity items, Victorian hatpins or period ladies accessories.
