This is a pretty vintage hat pin holder that came from my late aunts estate. It is all hand painted with oriental ladies and village scene. It holds 17 hat pins. This is marked on the bottom "Hand Painted by Nippon". I don't know why the picture did not turn out showing this. It is approx. 6" tall and the base is approx. 3" wide. I do not know the age of this holder. It was always in her china cabinet displaying her various pins. I believe this is porcelain but I cannot say for sure.
