Antique Hatpin Description and Notes: Uncommon Antique Celluloid Hatpin Lovely Popper Cabochon Faux-tortoise A Beauty No chips or cracks. Mr. Popper was well known for maker and produced bright, fine buttons and ornaments for hatpins in the Victorian Era. The head (ornament) is in excellent shape, solid connection, faux-tortoise celluloid, Popper stone; stem is straight/strong. Like pins in Lillian Baker's book. No marks observed. Overall, excellent condition. Date: late 1800s to early 1900s. Hatpin Length: 10 1/4" Head diameter: 2 ". Fine Example. Quality Collectible.
