Edith Vanderbilt Antique Inspired Pin Brooch Gold Tone Thimble Cameo Flower Bee Gold toned thimble with stems of flowers, bee, cameo and more. From 2000. Originally purchased from QVC collection honoring family of Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC This is a gold tone pin that is an upside down thimble and the flowers are hat pins. It isn't actually a thimble or hat pins, just made to resemble them. The thimble has tiny simulated pearls. There is a rose, a coiled snake with a turquoise colored stone, a plastic cameo, a bee with a red crystal and a pansy with a green crystal. On the back it is signed with the mark for Edith Vanderbilt. The pin measures approx. 2-1/2" long. Comes in original box with note card. New in box. Old stock.
