Description
This pin was probably made during the 1920s. Everyone wanted anything and everything Egyptian because of the opening of king tuts tomb. It is 6.5” long and has an Egyptian urn carved on the front and back. The beads along the sides appears to be glass but I’m not certain. Google says it’s tortoise shell. It may also be celluloid. I am no expert so I’ll let the buyer work it out. The hatpin book describes tortoise shell. If you need more pictures just let me know.
