Description

Lovely antique hatpin with a solid gold head set with a faceted rootbeer colored, translucent gemstone that I think is a smoky quartz. The gemstone is bezel set is a solid gold (unmarked) setting. The head measures 10 mm or 3/8" in diameter. The length of the hatpin is 6 1/4". The decorative head is in very good condition. The gemstone is not scratched or chipped. The gold setting is very good. The metal post has some aging and discoloration, as pictured. Thanks for looking!
