Description

Extremely old piece. It is marked but I cannot make out the marking (see photo 3 and if you know please send me a message because it’s killing me.) I’m not sure if this is an Opal or a mixed matrix stone- in my 21 years I’ve never seen anything like it. The stone itself is chipped inside the setting, it’s too small to picture as I could only tell with my loop. The surface of the cabochon appears maybe fractured, but upon loop inspection it could also be part of the matrix. You are buying this as is, because I cannot date it and I’m unsure of the quality of that stone. Very unusual piece I was told this could possibly be coprolite? Also known as fossilized dinosaur poop.
