Description
Stunning 1940s pair of early plastic /lucite amber colored variegated leaves with smaller gold tone decorative metal leaf adoring the top. 2 1/4 inch long by 1 5/8 inch wide by 1/4inch thick. Chain attached to the left side of each leaf. On the back is a 2pc snap closure with a round attached plate. See pics. The round plate which is able to spin 360 degrees has a diameter of 7/8 Inch. Not positive for what use this pair was intended. I checked with several antique facebook groups and was told cufflinks (too large?) and dress or shoe clips. The snap closure is unusual. I could not find another like it. If you know what these are for I would love to hear from you. Could be used as a decorative accent to button holes on a hat, dress or shoe. Some wear to the tip of one of the metal gold tone leaves. Quite pretty. Thanks for viewing.
